The focal point of this design is the three Chinese landscape paintings displayed in the living room. These paintings serve as the embodiment of the interior design style, with their brush strokes representing the flowing energy, contemporary abstract imagery framing the artwork, and the azure color invigorating the space. The artistic patterns on the carpet further enhance the feeling of being immersed in a painting, reminiscent of the delicate strokes of dry ink.
The use of diverse materials throughout the apartment adds depth and character to the design. The majestic TV wall, crafted from silver travertine, mimics the natural landscapes depicted in the paintings, creating a harmonious connection between art and the environment. The decorations, meticulously chosen in various materials, highlight the clear and tranquil mindset that is synonymous with traditional Chinese art.
One of the design's standout features is the dining room wall, adorned with another traditional Chinese landscape painting. This artistic addition sets the tone for a soothing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying meals with family and friends. Additionally, the connected slake plate on the enticing wall defines a dedicated space for gatherings, further enhancing the functionality of the apartment.
The master bedroom presents its own unique design challenge. The dressing room, separated by a tinted glass wall, ensures privacy while visually extending the master bedroom. The white, simple dressing table and open closets create an exclusive and exquisite space for the wife, adding a touch of elegance to the overall design.
Completed in February 2017 in Taichung City, this 185-square-meter project showcases the designer's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to creating a tasteful and comfortable living environment. The combination of traditional Chinese ink paintings, natural patterns on marble surfaces, and elegant dark woods creates a space that not only reflects the clients' needs but also embodies a refined lifestyle.
This exceptional design has been recognized for its excellence, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in 2020 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious accolade is awarded to creations that demonstrate outstanding design, practicality, and innovation, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The design's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics contributes to a better world, providing fulfillment and positive experiences.
